I just want to say thank you to Suburban Homestead Nerd and Somewhat Handy Brandy for nominating me for this award! Suburban Homestead Nerd nominated me awhile back but I have been so busy I haven’t been able to get around to making a post! Definitely check out there blogs! Suburban Homestead Nerd has some create comfort food recipes that look to die for! And Somewhat Handy Brandy does a cute mix of recipes and DIY projects that anyone would love to see! So here’s a DOUBLE WHAMMY!

Suburban Homestead Nerd’s Questions:

1. What made you start your blog?
   My mom gave me the idea. She really thought I needed a hobby for myself and I was trying to eat better and not spend as much money. Thought I might as well document it and see if I could help other!
2. Who is your greatest inspiration?
   My mom. She is such a strong women! I love her so much!
3. What quality do you think your readers most admire in you?
   Idk… I like to think I might have a little bit of a sense of humor haha
4. The best post you’ve ever written is…
   Personally I liked my first Samson & Mona post. I really put a lot of time into editing the pictures. But if it had to be a recipes I loved the Buffalo Chicken Flatbreads.
5. Do you think you’ll ever retire from blogging?
   Hopefully not!
6. What is the best book you’ve ever read?
   Separate Peace. (It’s a Classic hahaha I actually made a book sculpture based on a scene from the book, on the book itself. It was featured in our local art gallery and  a picture of it even graced the invitation for the opening!)
   
7. What is something few people know about you?
   I love cows with a passion. I think they have the cutest faces!
8. When is your favorite time of day to write?
   Morning.
9. Why do you blog?
   Just to share things with other people. I know there are people out there who are like me and just want to enjoy a simple meal.
10. The song which best describes you and your blog is…
    Probably a upbeat song. I can’t think of something right now, but when I do, I’ll let you know!

Somewhat Handy Brandy’s Questions:

1. Why did you start your blog?

   Separate Peace. But as a second favorite book, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. 
   
3. What does a perfect weekend look like to you?
   65 to 70ish degree weather. Just relaxing outside, or inside with the windows open.
4. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
   Telekinesis. Life would be so much easier!
   
5. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
   Christmas Pajamas 🙂
6. If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
   Probably Steak
7. What is your favorite Disney movie and character?
   OH Lord, don’t get me started on this. There are so many!!! I’ve always related to Belle because I had Dark Hair like her. Typical little girl stuff haha
8. What advice would you give your younger self?
   Don’t sweat the small stuff. Things are simpler than you think.
9. What’s your biggest fear?
   SNAKES! I literally start crying if I see one. Even if it’s dead.
10. Which do you prefer: A brand new car or a restored vintage car?
    Vintage all the way!
