Belize

In the summer of 2010 my family took a family vacation to San Pedro, Belize. Here are some of the photos of what amazing things I got to see!

Little village we passed on the water one day.

While we were there we got to visit ancient Mayan Ruins! I will probably never get to see something like this ever again! Lamanai is a Mesoamerican archaeological site, and was once a major city of the Maya civilization, located in the north of Belize, in Orange Walk District. Lamanai means “submerged crocodile”.

Me holding a Coatimundi!

We have been to Belize a couple times since the first time, but this is probably my favorite picture from our most recent trip there!

We went on a crocodile finding tour on our most recent trip. On the trip we got to see a bunch of babies but didn’t get to see any big ones. The guide got a call to go rescue one from a store drain and said he’d come by our condo after he got it. This is the big boy he caught! I look crazy.

With Love,
